Westrail Construction Ltd. owns and operates all the drilling blasting equipment that we use, ensuring that our clients do not have to compete with other companies for our equipment. We use up-to-date technology and in fact, have developed our own drilling and blasting software to improve efficiency. With a full line of eight Sandvik (Drilltech) rotary blast hole drills from the D40 to the D80, we are capable of drilling 10-5/8ths of an inch (270 mm) to 12-1/4ths-inch (310 mm) holes. With drill depths up to 138 feet (42 metres) no job is too small or too large. Westrail goes out of its way to hire local support staff and whenever possible use local industries to support its operations.
